Volunteer Working Groups
We're breaking big tasks into manageable bites by organizing volunteer-led sub-groups.
Right now, we're in the process of forming these groups and defining their priorities. Once you're placed in a group, you'll receive updates on tasks, meetings, and events as they come together. This means you may not hear from us immediately, but don’t worry, we’re working behind the scenes to get everything organized!
If your group is eager to jump in… WE LOVE THAT! Some groups are already getting started on their own. For example, the Artists group has already hosted two poster painting parties and is planning their third (details coming soon). The Security group has an in-person meeting scheduled, and other groups are brainstorming ways to make an impact.

Leadership & Logistics:
Tech Support: Individuals to assist with administrative and technical tasks
Communications & Media:
News Hawks: People assigned to specific media outlets, to summarize key stories, and share updates through the form at the bottom of the Trusted News page.
Writers: people focused on writing content for newspapers, social media and website. News appearances would also be great!
Artists: people to design posters, signs, and artwork we can use digitally.
Social Media: everyone can help amplify our message, record videos/photos, and drive online engagement.
Event & Community Engagement:
Membership Building: Connect with people to build our membership.
Network Builder: Connect with organizations to strengthen our alliance.
Event Organizers: Plan and schedule events in advance and manage logistics.
Activists: Attend events and take action, in-person or virtually.
Research & Strategy:
Historians: Research and document strategies from past social movements.
Safety Managers: Assess potential threats at events and develop response plans.
