Saugatuck Douglas Area Indivisibles is a local grassroots branch of the national Indivisible movement of millions of everyday people, united across our differences to build a real democracy of, by, and for the people. Together, we resist authoritarianism, fight for progressive policies, and elect leaders who reflect our values.
Being a member of this movement includes sharing our message widely, organizing in communities, using our power as voters, developing each other’s leadership, and bringing more people into our peaceful movement.
Through bold and collective action, we are working to make a world for generations to come that is free, equal and just.

We’re building a space for engaged citizens across West Michigan’s Lakeshore, including those who may not have local representation or community groups in their area.

We are proud to announce that on Monday June 16th, Saugatuck Douglas Area Indivisible will host Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. These are challenging times for our democracy: When politicians can ignore the will of the voters and attempt to pass laws to suppress the vote. Attorneys General across the states have stepped up to challenge unjust laws to support our rights.
